Story

Scott Olsen, founder of Olsen Consulting has more than 25 years of experience with energy efficiency engineering for commercial and industrial facilities. 

The increased use of the grid for powering societies energy needs encourages greater scrutiny of all the interconnected parts. For example, lower demand buildings allow the addition of new facilities with an overall lower cost. More energy efficient and sustainable facilities often lower emissions while improving comfort and productivity.

Scott has a Masters of Arts in Public Policy and Administration with a certificate in Energy Analysis & Policy along with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. Scott is a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in California, Minnesota, & Wisconsin, a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), a Life Member of ASHRAE, a WI Association of Energy Engineers (WAEE & AEE) member and a Senior Member of IEEE.
